Non Destructive Methodes For Moisture Measurements In Building
The paper presents some of the non-destructive methods able to determine or to follow changes in the moisture content of building materials and units both under laboratory and in-situ conditions. These methods are : dielectric constant method, attenuation of microwaves method atomic methods both by thermalisation of neutrons and by magnetic nuclear resonance and finally longitudinal ulrasonic pulse velocity method. The advantages and drawbacks and the particular applications for each method are presented
