the temple of pegulingan is located in the middle pof the rice field in the village of Basangambu, Tampaksiring. it was rediscovered in 1982 when the community of Basangambu rebuilt the broken building. then rescue excavation was done by Regional Office for Preservation of Historical and Archaeological Heritage, and succesfully found fragment of Buddhis Statues, Gana reliefs, clay seals and octagonal shape of the bulding.
